It was a humble start up. Way back in late seventies, what started as a small business in pharmaceuticals manufacturing has grown into a part of a healthcare conglomerate within four decades - a virtual Medicity - known as Dr. Sarkar Allen Group.

Dr. Sarkar Allen group of companies has created a trust of over 50 years in the Health Care Industry in India. The growth of the group can be mainly attributed to the fact that one of the main concerns has been to supply quality health care products to the masses.

This consciousness has led to the development of large factories for each stream of medicines accompanied by continuous innovation in products and processes which is the basis of the group’s success. Strict Quality Control procedures are maintained with in-process control at every single step in its production. The group has its own Quality Control Laboratory approved by the State Drug Control Authority.

Allen Laboratories Limited Since 1984 Allen Laboratories Limited, flagship company of the group, is engaged in the manufacturing of Homoepathic Medicines of all genre viz. Mother tinctures, Dilutions, 50 millesimal, Trituration, Bio-chemic & Bio-combination in the form of liquid, tablet, ointment, cream, & powder. It is also engaged in the manufacturing of quality Ayurvedic Medicines in its own GMP Factory. The company has received GMP certification in 2004 and is the second company in the Eastern India in the Ayurvedic field to receive the same.
Allen Healthcare India Limited A marketing company of Allen Laboratories Limited, is engaged in trading, distribution, & promotion of Ayurvedic, OTC and Homoeopathic products of Allen Laboratories Limited including its flagship Hair care Brand ArnikaPlus Triofer and Liver care Brand Livosin all over India through 20 branch offices and 2000 strong distribution network managed by 165 professional field force including managers who are positioned in all strategic points all over India. Allen Industries Limited is involved in information technology, under the commonly known identity as Allen Info Systems, which caters to system/software requirements of Dr. Sarkar Allen Group and others. Dr. Sarkar Allen Institute Pvt. Limited, a Drug testing and Research Institute within the Group recognized by the State Drug Control Authority. Emars Allen Pharma Pvt. Ltd. is engaged in the marketing, sales & distribution of Pharmaceutical, Homoeopathic and Ayurvedic medicines in the state of West Bengal. Allen's India Limited: another marketing company of the group engaged in the sales, marketing and distribution of Homoeopathic and Ayurvedic Medicines manufactured by Allen Homoeo International Pvt. Ltd. and Perk Allen Herbal Pvt Ltd. Allen Ad & Publicity Pvt. Ltd is a full-fledged advertising company within the group.
